The Medium is the third heroine in Germania Mint’s exceptional “Witchcraft” series. The 2026 Witchcraft: Medium 2-ounce silver BU Ultra-High Relief coin portrays a mysterious intermediary between the worlds of the living and the dead, endowed with knowledge that allows her to uncover secrets beyond the limits of human understanding. Her figure draws inspiration from ancient beliefs, mystical rituals, and the traditions of Germanic sorceresses.
The obverse depicts the Medium with her eyes covered, symbolizing spiritual focus and protection against evil. The infinity symbol, bone-carved crescent moons, rune-adorned lantern, and skull evoke the cycle of life and death, mystery, and rebirth. The badger remains adorning the heroine’s belt symbolize wisdom, courage, and perseverance.
A distinctive feature of this release is an inset of smoky quartz, a natural stone with a characteristic smoky hue that perfectly complements the mystical atmosphere of the design. Its dark tones enhance the Medium’s enigmatic character and evoke symbolism associated with protection and spiritual transformation.
The reverse combines Germania Mint’s distinctive style with motifs inspired by Germanic beliefs and the spirit world. The double-headed eagle, a skull surrounded by bones, and two dragons associated with the realm of the dead form an enigmatic composition, complemented by runes symbolizing protection, strength, and spiritual guidance. The Ultra-High Relief technique gives the design exceptional depth and highlights its intricate details.
The coin has been issued in a limited mintage of just 500 pieces. The authenticity of each coin is confirmed by a Certificate of Authenticity.
