The reverse of this silver coin depicts Leda embracing a magnificent swan at the heart of an elaborate mythological scene. Her figure emerges with sculptural softness among clouds and sweeping drapery, while winged cherubs surround the pair from both sides and above. To the left, one cherub raises a flaming torch; to the right, another presents a garland of delicate flowers. Selective gilding highlights ornamental details and golden accents, while rich red fabric, blue and white blossoms, and the swan’s vivid beak create dramatic contrast against the aged tones of the antique finish. All around, a classical Greek key border frames the composition. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: “LEDA AND THE SWAN” – the name of the mythological scene.
