Inspired by the mysterious 1889 jewelers’ masterpiece. An elegant collector’s piece with a story of lost imperial treasure.
One of the most intriguing works of the Fabergé workshop, the Nécessaire Egg was created in 1889 as an Easter gift for Empress Maria Feodorovna. Designed as a luxurious étui, it contained a set of miniature toilette accessories, combining the refinement of jewelry with the intimacy of an everyday object. Its later fate remains part of the legend. Last recorded in London in 1952, the original is now considered one of the lost Imperial Fabergé eggs. The coin closes the series with a motif full of elegance, mystery and decorative precision.
