The coin depicts the African Wildlife Elephant design from 2025, which features a fully-grown African elephant striding through the barren savannah in the sunshine and appearing to move towards the viewer. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions “AFRICAN WILDLIFE” and “ELEPHANT”, “1 oz” and the fineness “Ag 999.9”.
The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two Palm leaves and the inscriptions “SOMALI REPUBLIC 2025 100 SHILLINGS”.
